About Stevie & Dylan

Intergalactic Equine is run by our eight horses, my husband and myself. We specialize in creating enriching riding experiences in remote areas of natural beauty in California, Oregon and Nevada.

Over the years Stevie has competed in just about every equine discipline and a few of them on an international level, including National all-around AQHA titles, FEI reining, and achieved a 2 star in eventing. I have successfully completed the three longest horse races in the world; the Mongol Derby, Race the Wild Coast in South Africa and have also completed the inaugural Gaucho Derby in Patagonia.

Stevie uses her love of sport and outdoor adventure to push her boundaries and live life to the fullest. She has competed seriously in triathlons, run over 50 half marathons (and taken an interest in trail running) and participated in survival/adventure races such as the Kraken Cup  (the world’s most dangerous sailing race). She once ran her own bakery in Chicago and has a passion for healthy (and unhealthy ;o) cooking and eating alike!

Currently she starts horses under saddle, endurance races, and works with horses and actors in stunt and media work. She is also a farrier and enjoys trimming and shoeing all of her and Dylan’s four-legged employees. She has taught natural colt breaking clinics in four countries and worked with Buck Brannaman when she was 16.

Through Intergalactic Equine she is now happy to pursue her passion of everything equine-related and shares her knowledge and experience with others. There is no greater joy for her than seeing the thrill of adventure and the pride of accomplishment in the eyes of the people she and Dylan work with. They love taking people into the woods and letting nature work its magic, just as much as they love preparing meals and the right meditative atmosphere that allows people to reach for the best version of themselves. Stevie is also a dedicated life-long student of horse and rider communication and finds this to be the foundational theme that runs through everything she does. In the end it’s all about better communication and connection through bettering ourselves.

Husband Dylan has very similar interests and ideals. They met in Mongolia where he was crewing for the Mongol Derby. He also completed the derby and is an avid horse rider and film horse expert. Both of them completed the inaugural Gaucho Derby in 2020 and won the coveted “Vets Choice” award for the excellent care of their horses.  They truly love what they do and they love their four-legged team beyond measure. You’ll find they enjoy what they do also!

All of them cannot wait to meet and welcome you to the way things should be between horse and rider.
